The Saeima ¹ has adopted
and the President has proclaimed the following Law:

On the Agreement on Trade in Civil Aircraft and the Protocol of 6 June 2001 Amending the Annex to the Agreement on Trade in Civil Aircraft

Section 1.

The Agreement of 12 April 1979 on Trade in Civil Aircraft (hereinafter - the Agreement) and the Protocol of 6 June 2001 Amending the Annex to the Agreement on Trade in Civil Aircraft (hereinafter - the Protocol) shall be adopted and approved with this Law.

Section 2.

The Ministry of Economics shall coordinate fulfilment of obligations under the Agreement and the Protocol.

Section 3.

The Agreement shall enter into force in accordance with the time period and procedures specified in Article 9.3 thereof, and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs shall notify it in the newspaper Latvijas Vēstnesis [the official Gazette of the Government of Latvia].

Section 4.

The Protocol shall enter into force in accordance with time period and procedures specified in Paragraph 3 thereof, and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs shall notify it in the newspaper Latvijas Vēstnesis.

Section 5.

This Law shall come into force on the date of its proclamation. By this Law shall be proclaimed the Agreement and the Protocol in English and translation into Latvian thereof.

This Law has been adopted by the Saeima on 18 March 2004.
