Regarding First Aid Certificates

Issued pursuant to Section 17, Paragraphs one and
three of the law On the Operation of State
Authorities During the Emergency Situation
Related to the Spread of COVID-19

1. Considering that during the emergency situation all types of educational processes in on-site form outside educational institutions have been discontinued:

1.1. The issuing of the documents certifying completion of the training in the provision of first aid that has been specified in the laws and regulations regarding the provision of first aid shall be suspended for the duration of the emergency situation.

1.2. The time limit for the use of the documents referred to in Paragraph 1.1 of the Order the validity of which expires during the emergency situation shall be three months after termination of the emergency situation.

2. The Order shall enter into effect on the day after its publication in the official gazette Latvijas Vēstnesis.
