The Saeima has adopted
and the President has proclaimed the following Law:

Law On Convention on the European Forest Institute

Section 1.

The Convention on the European Forest Institute of 28 August 2003 (hereinafter -the Convention) is adopted and approved with this Law.

Section 2.

The fulfilment of obligations provided for in the Convention shall be co-ordinated by the Ministry of Agriculture.

Section 3.

The Convention shall come into force in accordance with the period of time and procedures specified in Section 15 thereof, and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs shall notify thereof in the newspaper Latvijas Vēstnesis [the official Gazette of the Government of the Republic of Latvia].

Section 4.

This Law shall come into force on the date of its proclamation. Together with this Law the Convention in English and the translation thereof into Latvian shall be proclaimed.

This Law has been adopted by the Saeima on 19 April 2007.
