The Saeima ¹ has adopted and
the President has proclaimed the following law:

On Designation of Central Office in Accordance with Article 12 of the International Convention of 20 April 1929 for the Suppression of Counterfeiting Currency

Section 1. In accordance with Article 12 of the International Convention of 20 April 1929 for the Suppression of Counterfeiting Currency, the functions of the central office in Latvia shall be performed by the Economic Police Department of the Main Criminal Police Department of the State Police.

Section 2. The Law shall come into force on the day following its proclamation.

This Law has been adopted by the Saeima on 14 April 2005.
