Subject: Extension of Agreement between the Government of the Republic of Latvia and the European Space Agency concerning Space Cooperation for Peaceful Purposes

Dear Mr Jean-Jacques Dordain,

In reply to your letter of March 31, 2014 concerning the extension of the term of Agreement between the Government of the Republic of Latvia and the European Space Agency concerning Space Cooperation for Peaceful Purposes until either the date of entry into force of European Cooperating State Agreement between the Government of the Republic of Latvia and the European Space Agency or January 31, 2015, whichever is the earliest, I have the honour to confirm, on behalf of the Government of the Republic of Latvia, the acceptance of your proposal.

Accordingly, your letter and this affirmative letter of reply, shall constitute an Agreement on the above-mentioned extension, which shall enter into force on the date hereof.

I am looking forward the long term and fruitful co-operation with your organisation.
