Regulations Regarding the State Fee for the Registration of Film Producers

Issued pursuant to
Section 7, Paragraph two of the Film Law

1. This Regulation prescribes the rate of the State fee for the registration of a film producer and the procedures for its payment.

2. The rate of the State fee for the registration of a film producer is EUR 28.46.

3. The State fee for the registration of a film producer shall be paid before the submission of the application for the registration of the film producer in the National Film Centre through the mediation of such payment service provider who has the right to provide payment services within the meaning of the Law on Payment Services and Electronic Money.

4. The State fee for the registration of a film producer shall be transferred to the revenue account of the State basic budget at the Treasury.

5. Cabinet Regulation No. 486 of 20 November 2001, Regulations Regarding the State Fee for the Registration of Film Producers and Distributors, Film Distribution Points and Films (Latvijas Vēstnesis, 2001, No. 171; 2005, No. 172; 2009, No. 206), is repealed.
