Regarding the Steering Group for Operational Elimination of Economic Effects Caused by COVID-19 in Entrepreneurship and for Support for Employees

1. In order to find solutions that would significantly alleviate short-term economic hardship caused by COVID-19 to entrepreneurs and employees, the steering group shall be established in the following composition:

S. Bajāre - Manager of Finance Latvia Association

E. Baldzēns - President of the Free Trade Union Confederation of Latvia

B. Bāne - State Secretary of the Ministry of Finance

R. Bērziņš - Chairperson of the Board of the joint stock company Development Finance Institution Altum

K. Gerhards - Minister for Agriculture

I. Jaunzeme - Director General of the State Revenue Service

G. Kaminskis - Chairman of the Latvian Association of Local and Regional Governments

T. Linkaits - Minister for Transport

L. Meņģelsone - Director General of the Employers' Confederation of Latvia

S. Purgaile - Chairwoman of the Financial and Capital Market Commission

J. Pūce - Minister for Environmental Protection and Regional Development

A. Rostovskis - President of the Latvian Chamber of Commerce and Industry

U. Rutkaste - Head of Monetary Policy Department of Latvijas Banka

J. Upenieks - Economic Advisor to the Prime Minister

A. Zakatistovs - Parliamentary Secretary of the Ministry of Finance

2. Manager of the steering group may invite other specialists to participate in the meetings, and also may request and receive from other authorities information required for work.

3. The material and technical facilities of the steering group shall be ensured by the Ministry of Finance.
